John Rockefeller at Synn Studios Inc.
John Rockefeller is a freelance web developer from Guelph, Ontario, Canada. His focus is on the LAMP stack (linux, apache, mysql, and php) as well as cloud computing and social media.
Interested in computers at a young age, John Rockefeller developed a passion for programming at the age of 14 when he received his first computer. Starting with BASIC then quickly moving onto C, Java, and PHP, his first product sold was at the age of 16.
It was during this time that a love for developing virtual 3D worlds came to fruition. First with the Duke Nukem “Build” engine then Genesis3D then later the Half-Life and Half-Life 2 engines. Experimenting with light, layout, and textures earned him a lot of experience in 3d level design.
John is the Chief Technical Officer at Synn Studios Inc and is developing several large-scale websites for Synn Studios Inc. including the Synnema Video Portal.
